Talisman s Planning team in Jakarta conducts economic and commercial evaluations, supporting various groups within the Company, both locally in Jakarta and the head office in Canada. The team’s deliverables are an integral part of the Company s investment decision-making process, provide support to day-to-day business operations, and form the basis of a continuous reforecasting and planning process. In addition, the team is responsible for commercial analysis on business development and new exploration opportunities.

Planning Analyst
Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be principally responsible for building and maintaining upstream economic models for a wide range of assets (existing and possible business development opportunities), and explaining your results. As such, upstream economic modelling expertise is crucial to this role.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in upstream oil and gas economic modeling,
- Polished English language communication and presentation skills,
- Ability to ask questions when faced with ambiguity or shifting priorities,
- An aptitude for learning new systems and processes,
- In addition to the above qualities, preference will be given to candidates who have had a minimum 5 years exposure to accounting and finance functions.
